This dual program offers a unique opportunity to become qualified with an internationally recognized TEFL certificate and at the same time to immerse yourself in the local culture while improving your language skills. TEFL certification will qualify you to teach English throughout the World. Our TEFL Certificate courses and language courses are available throughout the year.

Spanish Language
An intensive language course designed for anyone interested in starting their studies or in improving their communicative skills in Spanish. Contents, goals and teaching methods are geared to the communicative needs and the competence level of the student. The method is based on continuous practice.

A program with 4 hours of lessons per day. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until a break at 11:15 a.m. The first two hours consist of in-depth study of specific aspects of grammar and oral practice. After the 30 minute break ('coffee time') the final two hours consist of oral and written activities: comprehension practice - audio-visual material and analysis of documents (magazines, books, television, radio) and conversational time related to the specific subjects studied during the morning. Classes end at 1:40 p.m. Practical exercises and constant participation of the student are guaranteed in all courses, in order to improve his/her oral expression and the other language skills: listening, reading and writing.

Cultural Immersion
This is a fundamental part of our school's teaching method. The program of activities is changed every 2 weeks. This provides opportunities for students to use, reinforce and enjoy what they have learned in the classroom.

To achieve cultural immersion in a foreign country, we consider that it is necessary to know the language, but there is much more. Our school has developed 54 different extracurricular activities that help students integrate into the Spanish life-style.

These activities are of very different types: thematic evenings, musical evenings, Spanish movies, excursions, "tapas-tour", "paella in the garden", sports...

We travel and enjoy life, and for that we make no excuse. We work hard but we also play hard. Breakfasts at "San Nicolás", lunch at "Torcuato" or paella in the school garden. A party with friends at night (always speaking Spanish, of course).

In winter - perhaps a couple of days skiing in Sierra Nevada. In spring - swimming, tennis or, perhaps a trip to Cazorla or maybe Morocco - looking out at the sea from the desert sands.

In spring, summer or fall - bathing in the clear waters of the nearby Mediterranean, taking a boat trip to hidden cave; supper on some idyllic terrace in a genuine and authentic Spanish village, or experiencing pure flamenco, or sitting on the wall of the Mirador San Nicolás gazing across the valley at the fabulous Alhambra.

Spontaneity and freedom to travel. ..." Tomorrow Morocco or maybe Portugal... a play in Madrid or a football match in Seville..."
