Accommodation can be arranged for you. While we do try to cater to all tastes and budgets, the emphasis normally is on arranging somewhere reasonably cheap and comfortable to stay which is within walking distance of the language school and training centre and provides a suitable environment for study and living - actually many find it to be quite special, (not at all like most schools' city and student accommodation).
It is important to reserve accommodation with us early as Granada is an increasingly attractive small city with a large student population and growing tourist traffic. A six weeks advance booking is required in the summer months and other 'hot' times of year.
Should you wish you are free to arrange your own accommodation while you're taking our courses, just make sure that it has the study and living characteristics described above.
Generally located in the Albayzin within walking distance of the language school and training centre. - The Albayzin is a historic large village with its unique charm, 800 year old street market and Arabic buildings combined with 16th century medieval cobbled streets and restored Spanish buildings -(Granada's restaurants, shops, vibrant nightlife and historical sites are only a short walk away too).
Our Trainee Hostel - priority for TEFL 4-week trainees, (one block from the training centre), has single and double bedrooms with private bathrooms. It has a resident manager and includes: common room with internet and TV; large shared kitchen and laundry facilities; peaceful internal private patio with fountain and a roof terrace, (with a memorable view of the Alhambra).
Graduate TEFL teachers often continue living in our longer term residencial housing, providing a supportive transition into longer term Spanish life.
For those students on our Combined or Specific Purpose Courses you may choose between:
- Spanish host families
- shared flat with Spanish flat-mates
- our trainee hostel
- our longer-term residencial housing, with similar features
to our trainee hostel.
TEFL course accommodation starts at 295euros monthly; this includes electricity, water and community fees. There's a security deposit of 50euros (refundable).
